The City has three beautiful parks within the city limits. There are no reservations for use of the parks - it is first-come first-serve.
Fair Park, across from the High School, is a twenty acre park, divided in two parts by North Texas Street. Fair Park has five baseball/softball fields, a covered picnic area, playground, two tennis courts, a half court basketball court and a very pretty two acre pond for fishing.
Julius Moore Park is a lovely neighborhood park on the corner of Victory and Garver Streets encompassing 6 acres with a playground, covered picnic area, barbecue grill, basketball court, walking/jogging trail, and a baseball/softball field.
Pendergrass Park is a small pocket park in historic downtown Pittsburg for the comfort of downtown visitors and shoppers. With benches set under shade trees and a beautiful gazebo which is used for special events downtown, it is a great place to take a break from sightseeing and shopping.

Lake Bob Sandlin State Park is eleven miles from Pittsburg. This quiet and tranquil park offers so much - from fishing, swimming, boating, skiing, hiking trails through the forests and past two ponds. A small cemetery in the park dates to the 1840's.
